About Linky Business

Office software and the shop floor are often handled by different suppliers. Linky Business brings Odoo, processes, machines and equipment together in one workable operation.

Why we exist

The gap between the office and the shop floor

Many companies have digitised their administration while the shop floor still relies on separate devices, paper, Excel and manual reporting. ERP partners configure workflows; industrial integrators connect signals and hardware. The difficult part is making a physical event a reliable part of the business process.

Linky Business closes that gap. We implement Odoo for manufacturing and logistics and connect shop-floor sources such as machines, scales, printers, RFID, scanners and sensors. You no longer have to coordinate the translation between a process consultant and a technician.

Our approach is pragmatic. We connect only what adds value and use custom development only where it is justified. We focus first on the recording or handover that causes wasted time, errors or uncertainty, then choose the simplest reliable solution that can grow later.

The people behind Linky Business

A compact senior team with direct responsibility

40+ years combined

Making experience tangible

The combined experience comes from manufacturing environments, engineering, technical integration, operations and ERP implementation. These were roles in which machines, quality, planning, data and software could not be considered separately. That experience helps us discuss the same process issue with operators, maintenance teams, management and finance from each of their perspectives.

Together, the team brings more than 40 years of professional experience across manufacturing, engineering, technical integration, operations and ERP. The figure refers to the combined experience of the people behind Linky Business.

How we make decisions

Practical, transparent and careful with your interests

Practical

A solution must be workable for the people who use it. We choose the simplest intervention that solves a clear business problem and avoid complexity that does not add value.

Transparent

We make scope, assumptions, your required input and open decisions visible. We distinguish measured results from expectations and show where pricing or planning still depends on a decision.

Careful

We explain capabilities and outcomes while keeping client-specific technical details confidential where safety, intellectual property or competitive position are involved.

Honest advice

When we are not the right partner

A company that only needs a simple standard website, standalone bookkeeping or the setup of a consumer device probably does not need our combination of Odoo and industrial integration. For highly specialised machine controls or certified safety systems, the original supplier or a specialised integrator remains responsible for the core technology.

Our role is to connect the business process with the available information. When a request falls outside that role, we make this clear early and, where possible, help identify the correct responsible party. This prevents a client from paying for expertise they do not need.

From the first question to ongoing management

What working together looks like

We use the first conversation to define the problem. Depending on the request, a process analysis, migration assessment or technical survey follows. The proposal sets out the intended result, scope, your required input and clear exclusions. During the project, decisions are taken at a fixed rhythm, and after go-live we separate support from new requirements.

Documentation, training and internal ownership are part of the delivery, so your organisation understands what has been built, why it works that way and how it should be managed after go-live.

Speaking the language of both worlds

A conversation with management and the technical team

An ERP project affects different interests. Finance wants auditable figures, planning wants predictability and operators want a solution that does not get in the way during a busy shift. Linky Business makes those differences explicit. We translate an operational problem into a system decision and explain technical possibilities without losing sight of the business objective.

That is why we do not start with a list of features or devices. We investigate where information originates, who needs to act on it and which error or delay genuinely costs money. This makes the conversation more concrete and prevents technology from becoming an end in itself.

Discuss your process with the people who will build it

You will speak with a team that understands both Odoo and the technical reality of the shop floor.
